I was asked to model and animate a short, playful scene for a small design agency.
It had to transition from day to night, showing the agency always open amongst a busy street, to reflect their dedication and hard work in their early years.
Despite having had no Cinema 4D experience whatsoever, I took on the project - seeing it every bit as much as an opportunity to learn a new piece of software and expand my skillset.
I took on all aspects of the brief, from drafting out the scene with scamps, to the modelling, texturing and animating of the 30-second animation. Once it was built and rendered out from Cinema, it was comped in After Effects, where colour correction, SFX and audio were applied.

The final animation was featured on the agency's website and social media.
It brought to life the story around their early years, providing a lovely talking point with their clients.
The Scene's Avatar

For the narrative, I decided to feature Forecast's truck as their avatar. As the focus point, it represented those early years of travelling around London; drumming up business, meeting with clients and crafting ideas for their clients back in the studio. Whatever the time – day or night – the founders just kept on going.
Website Rollout

The client wanted to flex the animation across different channels. One of these was a website under construction page — this focused on the Forecast studio literally under construction!
