Taste Me Mama, an exciting start-up, came to me to craft the identity for their a new range of Ghanaian chilli sauces. The packaging had to reflect the product USPs - a sauce with a strong African heritage that is entirely handmade.
The digitally illustrated look and feel, combined with the typeface, pattern and texture, demonstrated the handmade nature of the product successfully while the hand drawn African animals are full of character and clearly represent the products’ African origin.
I produced all aspects of the job from start to finish — illustrating the jar artwork and creating the 3D assets [in Cinema 4D] which were used across brand comms and advertising

The result was a ‘series’ of products attractive enough for the consumer to feel compelled to collect.
My client saw a 21 fold return on packaging spend and a 240% revenue growth since implementation.
The product is currently being sold into Tesco & Sainsburys at the time of writing [June 2019].
